Dalton Arts Project would like to thank its donors for the incredible support shown for Dalton Arts Project's Nutcracker and other community Artreach projects. They have been hugely successful and warmly received throughout Northwest Georgia. During the year, Dalton Arts Project extends its ArtReach by partnering with and bringing the arts to Cherokee Estates, New Hope School, Friendship House, Dalton-Whitfield Daycare, Helping the Hurting, NWGA Girls’ Home, the Senior Citizens Center, Lookout Mountain Community Service, the Crisis Center, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, DHS Performing Arts and other organizations. Our Club D service group, comprised of many Dalton Dance Company members, annually provides more than 2,000 hours of volunteer services to the community.
We are pleased to announce that we will present Nutcracker at the Dalton High Theatre.
Last season, over 350 dancers brought delight and holiday cheer with EIGHT performances attended by over 4000 patrons from our community and through out the Southeast. Many underserved youths enjoyed the show through our ticket subsidy program. We are proud of the fact that Dalton Arts Project's Nutcracker was featured in Southern Living magazine. We appreciate the donors' support to keep this wonderful holiday tradition growing and thriving as recurring annual costs continue for our guest professional dancers, our lighting, sound and special effects, theatre rental and our many other "surprises" that make our live production so special.
Please consider making a donation or being a sponsor for “Nutcracker and More” to help us continue this wonderful Dalton tradition. Contributors will be recognized in the Nutcracker program. Or consider supporting Dalton Arts Project's other Artreach programs that make such a lasting, positive impression on the citizens of this community.
